Hello everyone, new Bueller here, LOVE my new XB12s!!! Where can I find a hi-performance/race ECM for an 08?

Also, Special Ops says I can run one of his exhaust cans with no re-map but I fear this will lean her out too much, American Sport Bike says they know of no hi-perf or race ECM's for 08's yet.

i have custom chopped my own muffler and installed a k&n filter on my '08 12R and she doesnt run lean at all, in fact a little bit of that dead spot when the throttle is cracked has gone away and my midrange is more responsive by not having to wait for the muffler obstruction valve to open...she runs better than the day i brought her home thats for sure!

What is the website to the 08 Race ECM. I am sold on the Twin Tech after talking to a Buell racer. I am just curios to see this 08 ECM.

You can no longer buy Race parts without a CURRENT racing license. The various State EPA regs have made sure of that. The aftermarket has had to step in. You'll have problems getting tuned by a dealer (at least in CA - because the EPA fines are HUGE)

It's coming... if you don't have those regulations in your state (yet) consider yourself warned...

No clue about normal XB12. Says you need a race licence. Thank you EPA!

If the o2 sensor and ecm are functioning properly your bike cannot run lean.

That is incorrect info being passed around.

Thanks for all the info. everyone, I have a K&N filter and a Special Ops. exhaust can on the way.

I'll post the results in a few weeks.

I have been running a Spec Ops can on my 08 XB12R since March. No problems to report due to the Spec Ops can.
