Im looking for some new eyewear for while riding. I would like to get some glasses with interchangable lenses, so I can use them during the day and at night. I would also like them to seal off around my eyes. Got alot of sweat onto the inside of the top portion of my sunglasses over the weekend. Made it a little scarey leaning into the turns on 129 when the road is a blurry mess. I noticed these on the Buell website, http://www.buell.com/en_us/gear/apparel/product.as p?Menu_ID=1&CategoryID=4&ProductID=4090 and they look like they might fit the bill. Anybody have them that can comment on them? I dont want to spend more than $40-$50 on a pair, since Im usually rough on sunglasses.

Oakley M Frame Special Forces kit. They're on Ebay for about 80 bucks. Two sets of lenses, clear and dark, a hardcase and a cleaning pouch.

Ex and current troops sell these things like candy. I got mine, opened the case and sand came out. Had to clean the frames as well, sand all lodged in it.

These are better then any Sunglass I've owned. I bought a pair at the Moto GP last year at Mazda Speedway. I love them.

Those Oakleys do look nice. My only concern is if they would fit in my helmet. They look kinda large. The icicleseyewear are outside of my pricerange =\

Does the M-Frame have anything to help keep the sweat from dripping down onto the lenses? I wear a size M in HJC, so they should fit in the helmet easily if they fit in a M Shoei.

My dad recently got a pair of goggles from WileyX, they are very low profile. Seemed durable as well.

"Does the M-Frame have anything to help keep the sweat from dripping down onto the lenses"

They bend around your face and have a decent gap to allow sweat to flow pretty decently.

I also have a M HJC and they fit with zero problems in it.

The Buell eyewear I posted the link to look to be about the same as the WileyX ones, but half the price.

I highly doubt that the Buell eyewear are as good as the Wiley X glasses. I have had mine for ~3 years now and love them like the day I bought them.

Another thing is that I KNOW for a fact that if you have a problem with the Wiley X, that they stand behind their product 110%.

How scratch resistent are the WileyXs? I know I drop mine sometimes, and would kill myself if I spent $80 on a pair and then scratched them by dropping them while gearing up.

I like the Oakley M-frames for mountain biking, but they do not fit inside my Shoei X-11. The Oakleys have excellent optics, but they do not have a brow band to keep sweat off the lenses, but this only seems to be an issue when hitting large bumps.

Take your helmet with you, and try some glasses on so you can see if they are compatible with it.

I have a pair of the Buell glasses you are looking at. They work excellent for what you are looking for as they have foam around the eyes. But also there is a thin layer of fabric on the foam to make it more comfortable I'm guessing. Mine eventually started to separate from the foam because of the sweat. I still like them though.

Thanks for that bit of info Ben, how long did it take for the foam to start to seperate from them?
