Ok, 3300 Miles on the ULY & my pads are looking thin already????

Been riding 13 years, 5 bikes, never in my life burned through brakes this fast?

Anyway?

Any Alternative pads to the Buell stock ones???

My Triumph used the same as all the Japanses companies, so I went with some improved brakes.

Anyone know what's a good replacement pad I can grab to replace the stock ones. I got a few Japanese Bike shops local, if I can cross reference & get a nice performance pad to replace my stock ones.

Anyone got any ideas or makes of what works?

Thanks so much!

Are the Golds a standard size pad, hence can I goto my local crotch roket shop & find a match for the Uly size pad, I know basically everyone is using the same stuff.

I don't know if you are going to be able to cross reference the pads since most if any jap bikes use a 6 piston inverted caliper.

I am in the minority since I hated the Lyndall golds I had. I prefer the EBC HH. From what I heard the Lyndalls are on back order. American Sportbike is were I get my pads. Al has a few different types.

Do you have a caliper hanging up or something? Unless you have been doing a lot of track days even the stock pads should last longer than that.

+1 Al at American Sport Bike. He can give you the scoop on what pads will fit your riding style also.

Nothing Special,I do a lot of commuting in heavy washington DC traffic, but its nothing I did not put any of my other bikes through?

I am currently on a trip out of state for a week, & noticed some pulsing while breaking at speed from the front break, then I looked at the pads, they have about 1/8" left. So i am planning a lot of riding thisweek, figure I would change the pads & see how it works out

The EBC pads should be easy to find. The rears are FA140. I think they cross reference to an Aprilla.

Lyndals are backordered for about 3 weeks more.
