i have an 03 xb9 stock everything. I have an 01 blast w/ a v&h exhaust. Here are my questions: 1. Will the v&h muffler fit the 03 xb? 2. I go this cheap route will I need to make any fuel map modifications? I re-jetted the blast. 3. If I don't or can't go this route w/ the xb I'd like an exhaust that's louder than stock but not as loud as the v&h on the blast. I just read the spec ops and drummer discussion and like the idea of not having to mess with the fuel map. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Hmmm, it dont think id put the blast muffler on there... I dont know how big it is but i assume it was designed for an engine that is half the size of your xbs. personally I recommend the spec ops cuz thats what I got and I love it and would never go back to stock |

The V&H can will be too small to perform well on the XB and will not be optimized for 2 exhaust pulses. It will also be much louder on the XB. You will be far better off waiting and saving up for a pipe designed for an XB, whether it is a spec-ops, drummer, micron, or whatever else suits your fancy. |
