I want to pick up some traction grips for my Uly, but the buell website says they will not fit. Is there are any decent aftermarket hand grips for the Uly, or what has to be done to make them work on the Uly? I am assuming the hand guards interfere with them somehow. Anyone have any insight?

M2nc and Webe have traction grips on their Ulys. You have to use a dremel tool (or the like) to cut holes in the end for the hand guards.

A tip; Stick them in the freezer before you try to cut them.
I used a small saw-type tool, sold to cut faces in pumpkins, to cut the center of the ends out - to install barend mirrors.

FYI ... when I cut mine ... I just cut out the centers ... and left the Buell Logo's around the edges ...

I cut the ends of my grips with a hammer after installing them on the bars.
