I know I should have ask this question beforehand, but can anyone tell me if any stock XB12 muffler will bolt up on any XB12 bike?

I just bought one off a Firebolt on Ebay to use as a core to send to Drummer. I plan to put it on my Ulysses.

I know the stock Ulysses can has some sort of valve in it that is controlled by a servo, but those are removed for the Drummer mufflers anyway.

No! XB12X and XB12STT have a longer sidestand, it will hit a stock S or R muffler.

Yes there is no difference between the two, up to the last segment with the exit tip.

147db is right, the side stand does hit the tip and turns black from exhaust... Don't ask me how I know.

But, if he's sending it to drummer for mod's, won't the outlet size & location be altered anyway?

I think that as long as he tells drummer that it's going on an xb12x it will be fine no matter what it was originally off of.

Thank you everyone who answered. I can see now where the side stand would interfere with the outlet. I'll make sure I let the folks at drummer know what I'm putting it on.

Thanks again.

Gary, The 12X muffler is double wrapped for off-roadabilty but bolt up should be no problem.

The 12 mufflers are virtually the same inside; dual walls included. The 9's are single wall.
