Can anyone tell me whether an xb9 race exhaust will fit onto an xb12 .

You're asking the wrong question. Will the XB9 Race Exhaust WORK on the XB12, and I believe the answer is "No."

However, it will "fit."

It will fit. The 9 has no servo, so that part will not work. If you had a race ECM it would not matter.

hmmm I have a slightly USED XB9 race can that will let go for cheap ;)

The Race can has no servo no matter what engine it is for.

I have the original race can off a 03 9s and it works fine on my Uly.

I got 35k on it off my firebolt too with no problems,

YES IT WILL WORK. Although if you get a race can for the 03 belt system it will hit the idler pulley on the 04 belt system.
