Will the front end of an 1125R fit on the XBR?

I want that fairing and headlights!

I inquired about that at the factory tour I had on Monday and they said it's slightly different then the firebolt's with the way the new tank/frame is. So I took that as "you may have to slightly alter it to make it work."

I've been pondering that same question.

From a quick look at the photos is might be a direct fit. If not, it might not be that difficult to adapt.

You can mount the fairing on the XB from the 1125R. But you also need the 1125Rs fairing support. The gotcha comes when you go to mount the XB instrument cluster in to the 1125Rs fairing mount. It doesn't match up.

I'll eventually come up with something that will work to mount the XBs cluster up : )

drop the cluster all together and go with the Zumo set up . There is a lightning running around like that , it looks clean and smooth as hell.

Those darn fair supports for the XB list at $137.

All the parts new will add up quick to $400+

FYI,
From what I have been told the 1125R fairing and mount should fit the XB, with a little help (source: I have a friend who is planning on using the 1125R fairing on his XB9R Track Bike). However, using the 1125's headlights might present a small problem for the XB-too much load. I have not gotten any word back on that issue.
Keep you posted.
