Ending daylight savings time was an opportunity for me to discover, again, how in the hell you set the clock on the 1125R. And once again I'm struck by what a poor design this instrument cluster is.
Who thought only two buttons, one marked "Mode" and the other marked "Toggle", was a good idea? If the buttons actually did what they're marked to do, that would be one thing, but the difference between "Mode" and "Toggle" is ambiguous, even (especiially?) to someone who has worked in IT for his entire adult life.
Also, to say it's nonobvious how you set the clock is understating it. (Key in On position, hold down Mode and Toggle both until you get into Setup mode, then use Mode to page through until you get to Clock Change mode). One thing I *do* like is that you can set not only the hour, but the tens and ones digits for minutes -- makes things a lot faster. So someone was thinking about that, at least.
