Is there an alternate part number like a Duralast? I found one a while back for an IAT. |

Bike won't idle for mrs than a few seconds. Have following codes U0001 Comm Error P0087 Fuel Pressure sensor low P0193 Fuel Pressure sensor high P0122 Throttle position sensor low P0511 IAC fault P0507 IAC RPM lower than expected P0113 IAT sensor high or open Fuel codes i have always had, readings from cluster say they are fine TPS is new and IAC are new. I tried cleaning the IAC and did a TPS reset with the same results. I am guessing IAC |

Are you sure there's not more going on there than just the IAC? Do you have the troubleshooting section of the manual? A code by itself doesn't mean that the associated part is bad. |

Put the bike on a charger, low voltage can wreak havoc on your system. I had a bunch of error codes dumped from the ECM and put it on a charger overnight and presto, they were gone after 2 startups |

Scratch the IAC, it is moving so I don't think its that. I have the manual(several actually). I am going to try and eliminate one code at a time. Don't have ecmspy, couldn't download a copy that would work. I do have the cable tho. The TPS diag in the electrical manual looks like an ECM or throttle body assay. I have an EBR ecm so replacing that will be costly and would put me out for the rest of the season. I put the bike on a tender every night when done riding and don't remove it till I ride next. After I reassembled everything and tried to restart the bike, it was a hard start and backfired a little. Finally got it to start and it idled for a few seconds and stalled. It was easier to restart after that tho. |

Haven't had to do much to my Buell yet, but I have my Aprilia. The throttle bodies have to be synchronized on it. I don't know how you do it on an 1125, but may be worth looking into. Also, you can spray some carb cleaner down the iac to get the build up off of it. Just because its moving doesnt mean its moving right. It might be partially obstructed. That little motor doesnt have alot of torque. I actually took mine apart (on the Aprilia) and cleaned the drum by sticking it in a drill and hitting it with some 1100 wet sand paper. Worked great after that. (Message edited by figorvonbuellingham on September 08, 2014) |
