My 09 1125R has a little over 8000 miles on it and before the snow melts (Wisconsin winters) I want to get a couple preventative measures completed so let me know if the part numbers are correct and if I am missing anything. I will be first doing a valve check, going to pull the frame off and hitting up the “stealer ship” for the needed shims. Looking to the right side of the motor I am going to put in EBR’s clutch actuator part number X2086.11AZ. Looking to the left side of the motor I am undecided as to go with EBR’s drilled rotor or the whole kit from Twin Motorcycles, regardless new gasket and rotor nut either path I go down. While I got both sides of the motor open I will be updating the cam chain guides to the 2010 guides part number F0058.1AMB. Next I will be insulating the inside of the frame using 16130 - Thermotec Heat Barrier from Al at A.S.B. After I am all done top off the fluids and fingers crossed I will have a trouble free season of riding… Thanks for the input! |
