Hello guys,

I picked up a new 2013 Camaro ZL1 about two weeks ago and have no more use for my Buell. Because I know how passionate you guys are about these bikes I have decided to offer it to any one here for a rock bottom price of $4500.00. Come and get it! Also, I am not completely gone from Buell. If and when the new bikes are released I may pick one up.

This link should tell you all you need to know about the bike. It's an unbelievable deal on an immaculate machine.

Cheers!

Snackbar, sorry to hear you aren't going to keep it. Understand and wishing you the best. And thanks for giving BadWebber's a first shot at your beautiful bike.

Interesting. I haven't even driven my Corvette since I got back into riding.

I just find riding far more involving, fun and challenging The Corvette's a beast, but the bike is just so much more, for me

Being a car enthusiast myself, especially musclecars, I can fully understand Snackbar's love for that Camaro. It's no ordinary Camaro that's for sure. It's kind of the equal to the Mustang Boss 302, which is an awesome car in its own right.

Having said that, yes. If given the keys to a massively entertaining sportscar versus a sportbike, I will always go for the sportbike. I've had a few fast cars. No matter what and where (except when its raining) I can go much faster on a sportbike than on ANY sportscar. That's just a fact. When I factor in the congestion that I have to deal with here in Southern California going to and from my favorite backroads, the sportbike wins hands down.

But I'll still love to own a Boss 302 or a Camaro ZL1. LOL! Congratulations Snackbar! Try not to land in jail on that thing!

Hey guys thanks for the kind words. I haven't sold it yet and if it's not gone soon I will just keep it. The older I get the more my fears of getting hurt begin to set in. My wife complains every time I throw a leg over. I finally I got so annoyed that I jokingly said to her I would sell it if I got a ZL1. She bought if for me on my birthday a few months later.

Who would've thought?

Just do the track day thing. The odds of getting hurt are definitely there, but the odds of getting killed are vastly lower. You just don't have the major things that cause motorcycle fatalities so often there.

My wife is an ER nurse. She encourages my track days and racing over riding the street. She sees the injuries from both.

Jdugger,

That is definitely an option. Never been on a track before. You don't ride on the street at all?

I only track ride.

I have a street bike that didn't see the road at all last year, and only about 100 miles each of the two years prior.

Correct. I don't even own a street-legal bike, or maintain motorcycle insurance.

I know it sounds at first like an impossibility, but you would be surprised at the track community -- it's huge, and many, many of it's members don't ride on public roads at all.

I've been surprised at the number of them that don't even maintain a motorcycle license.

Agreed. The street is much more dangerous than the track.

Snack,

There's a RideSmart event at ECR, not so far from you, the 16th and 17th.

Consider signing up and riding with us. I'll be teaching on one of my 1125r bikes.

I picked up a new 2013 Camaro ZL1 about two weeks ago

So where are some pics of it? I, for one, would like to see it. Feel free to Email me the pics, if you don't feel others would be interested.

There are gearheads on here that are not Ford fanboys,

P.S. Although I'm a GM man, I did see a 1970 Ford Torino riding around yesterday that I wouldn't turn away - muscle is muscle after all...
