Besides the kludge fix to the broken fairing support, the paint alone.......... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-BUELL-1125R-LO W-MILES-1-STARTING-BID-NO-RESERVE-LOOK-DONT-MISS-/ 110906885181?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item19d290c43d #ht_28532wt_1165 (Message edited by sprintst on July 01, 2012) |

They also call it an air cooled "Harley-style" v-twin in the listing... |

Gross. Would make a good race bike as long as you don't mind the chuckling... |

That bike looks like it has been crashed. The front fairing support is also cracked and very crudely screwed together. Buyer beware :/ I'm wondering if it has a salvage title... |

That is the ugliest R I have ever seen! Man, what some people will do to stand out in a crowd. Who in their right mind though that it was a great idea to paint their bike that way? YIKES!!!! |

it'll be interesting to see if they reply to my email i've just sent ........ I've suggested that it comes across as a very good con and that they really should do some research on the vehicle they are supposedly selling. There is no way that that bike hasn't suffered a fairly serious crash. |

Who in their right mind though that it was a great idea to paint their bike that way? Apparently Thunder Tower H-D did. Here's the bike as I took pics of it on the dealership floor on the way to March Badness one year:
They also had this custom painted 2 tone 1125R on the floor at the same time:
Personally, though not my cup of tea, I thought it was good that a dealer was willing to invest in something different to generate interest, make something unique, and promote Buell's. Hell, the Buell's were right by the front door... Suddenly I've lost 2 cents, 1313 |

Ok, the pics you posted 1313 look much, much better than the ebay photos. Although, it is still not my idea of a good looking R. The bike looks like it's hot pink in the ebay shots. I really like that 2 tone blue and gray scheme though. That one looks SWEET! |

And the rear subframe didn't look bent in the showroom shots |

Careful on that first couple rides, those nicely Armor All'd tires might make it a bit interesting. |

You're right, soon as they slide off the Armor All'ed tires. |
