I finally was able to swap out the rotor for the EBR one.

The service manual has a spec of 11 Nm for each ignition cover bolt...that's what it says, so that's what I did...but does anyone else have an eery feeling that it doesn't really seem tight enough?

Can't start it up yet to check for leaks - needs oil - but I'm somewhat skeptical. Did you guys feel the same way?

At first I was also a bit skeptical about 11 Nm/97 in-lb. It didn't seem like a lot of torque. I could have easily generated more torque with a T-handled wrench without getting that "too tight" feeling in my "calibrated" hand.

But I can say this -- I've had that cover off a fair number of times now, and when using 97 in-lb in the proper torque sequence, I've never had a leak. Not even when using a dry recycled gasket that I had forgotten to lube-up.

11 Nm is adequate. Sure, it's less torque than I might want to instinctively put on the bolts using my hand as a guide, but I'm willing to concede that my Snap-On torque wrench is smarter than my right hand when it comes to getting the right torque.

I feel better now.

Thanks.
