Has anyone on here experienced a chirping or squeaking noise from I believe the right side of the bike only at start up? Noise begins at ignition and goes for about a half second after engine fires and idles then goes away completely. I do not notice it when engine is warm, just when cold. Bike has 27k miles. 24k service was done by a professional on time, engine oil is amsoil full syn and level is good. my guess its starter or starter gear/bushing/bearing related. Thanks

also

where can i find a good deal on a quality clutch rebuild kit for the 1125R? I have checked out American Sportbike, but is there a better place? EB Racing doesn't offer one, kneedraggers, nor does motorcycle superstore, ect. Thanks

Chirping noise? - maybe a whistle? - some have experienced a pinched breather causing a high pitched noise...the infamous breather that goes up in the air box...if pulled too far "up" - I could agree it may kink the hose.

Clutch plates for rebuild = Barnett performance:

you may want to PM Jdugger (another lone star state rider) on the board as he has a slipper clutch set up in his race bike ...if you want to learn about even more clutch performance.

Thanks for the info. This is a 90% commute bike so race stuff is not the best idea, would be a waste for me unless it improves durability.

I'm going to guess fuel pump for the sound.

pyrog - might want to mix and match - the Barnett plates with stock springs...the Barnett springs can be a handful.

some of the race types may have some stock stuff they would want to sell...check the race forums...good luck
