Dudes,
I purchased the pig tail to connect to my battery on my '09 1125R so I can plug in my battery tender this winter rather than using the alligator clamps. Obviously I will have to disconnect the battery to install the charging pigtail harness. After I reconnect the batt is there anything special I have to do? (like reset the TPS or anything like that?) Or can I just reconnect the batt and ride? By the way I have the Erik Buell Racing ECM. Thanks.

Always good to reset tps after pretty much any changes. Other wise ride it.

Just reconnect it. Depending on how long it was off, your clock and tripometers may reset.

Thanks for the good advice. How will I know if the TPS needs to be reset?

It doesn't, but if you want to check, go into diagnostic mode with the engine off, go to the TPS percentage tab, it should smoothly go from 2%-100% as you open the throttle.
