my front end makes a clunking noise when i push it over bumps or bounce the fork with the brake on. I cant seem to find anything loose or making contact on the outside.

Most likely the brake rotor making noise. It floats on its mounts.

Doing a search will reveal that this is considered normal and it's internal noise from the fork tubes. Mine does it as well and I even tried torquing the head bearing. Some people have had luck torquing the steering head and some replacing the rotor/caliper. I even read a post where someone loosened and torqued the front axle, fixing the problem.

The consensus still points to normal.
