I think that's an excellent report. Having owned a '87 FXRT for 10 yrs, I wish all the best to see H D thrive in these challenging economic times.

Noted was this "And, J.D. Power said that buyers between the ages of 30 and 40 year spent nearly $1,900 on gear, parts and service for motorcycles in 2010, or $300 more than they did in 2008." I take that to mean that spending $900 for an EBR stator kit to fix my 09 1125r is not too out of line, no?

So, what H D did to us in the past is done but I believe that, looking forward, we're better off for having an independent E B R looking out for our best interests is GREAT! Doncha agree?

Swampy, thanks for sharing. Your're on the right track. It's Keith Wandell that doesn't know what he's talking about. He needs to take care of supply and production business at home before he can expand.
