Yeah, but the one on Ebay is signed. I guess it'll become a collectors edition and never be ridden. It's a shame not to ride a bike like tha...........Oh wait, It's only a toy. :)

I even emailed the high bidder & told him he could get it for $43. I think he really wants the autograph. Maybe he thinks it will be worth more? Hell I have an authentic Erik Buell signed helmet that I could sell him for the low low price of $750. And a matching Buell hat thats also signed, maybe I would be willing to sacrifice that for $300?

I gotta go email someone...................

Ahhhhh..spreading joy and goodwill? Maybe we can get someone here to write him and explain how he missed the boat by purchasing a model based on an antiquated Sportster motor....or how he sucks because Aprilia is going to release a better model in 3 years :)

Geeesshhh......I'm glad you don't track the stuff I buy on e-Bay.

Wanna buy my Scott Russell signed, painted WITH my PURPLE S-1 helmet with the gold iridium visor? Now THAT's a one of a kind.

Merry Christmas Dana...& everyone else. It feels good to be me right now:D

Finally got our grandbaby home yesterday. Spent 1 month in the hospital & its great to finally get him home. Weird having a baby in the house, havent had that for 18 yrs. And he's so tiny, gaining weight good, but still only a little over 6lbs.

Later on I am gonna take a pic that I think everyone will get a kick outta.

Dyna,
Congrats! What a wonderful Christmas present.
Give Mom, Dad and Grandma a collective hug from all us well wishing Buellers out here in the "ether".

On the Avaon model front. I received mine yesterday. Cool little model. Very good company to work with. I had a credit card snafu due to a stolen purse (my daughters you goof's). They sent it anyway even though the card was rejected.
The purse was stolen (and found)the day after I ordered the model. The transaction hadn't gone through yet....but the card had been canceled.

I could post pics if anyone wants.

Merry Christmas to all!

Brad

I need a bit of advice from the masses.

I've been looking for a Blue/Black Vanson Buell XR1 jacket (size XL) for some time.
Right now there is one on Ebay, the auction ends tomorrow.
Problem is, the seller has very little feedback. They look suspect as they are all from the same person!

Does anyone in Florida area know this person? Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6750&item=1875190565

Even though I want the jacket, the lack of decent feedback and the payment method are making me VERY wary.

Any advice or anyone else got an XR1 for sale at a decent price?

Thanks tons folks..

Court,

Your Buell street sign advertisement helmet signed by you personally would bring more money than your Scott Russell signed version here on

DYNA...

That is really great news! Am really happy for you and the family. That's the best gift anyone could get...especially at Christmas.

Try getting a pic of "DynaMite" in one of your slippers. You know..."his first ride." Heck, I've seen your boots, he should fit. LOL

Merry Christmas to all and to those of you with Babies in the house...A good nights rest.

I was trying to buy one of the Buell square back helmets on ebay. I had the high bid when the bidding stopped. The guy wants more, and will put it back on in January. REX

Brad,
It looks like it is their first time to sell anything and more than likely they are a good seller just not used to e-bay selling. I would suggest that you insist on paypal or a personal check once the sale is complete just to be sure.

Bluzm2, I would be willing to bet that trugolf is using fire4ngel as an alternate ego to run up bids. Seems to strange that the only place they buy from is trugolf. Just use Paypal to make your payment and you should be safe. If you want someone to pick up the jacket for you and take care of it until riding season up there let me know.

Seasons Greetings to all,

As another year is about to pass, I wanted to say thanks to Blake once again for making the Bad Weather Bikers' BBS a reality.

Over the years BWB BBS has bought together numerous enthusiastic hooligans via the Internet by sharing information within this unique active community. Even more impressive are the gatherings and diversity this site has generated, such as Bonneville.

I also would like to personally thank those of you who consistently participate in the discussion forums with technical and/or non-technical information therefore making the Bad Weather Bikers’ BBS the best Buell source on the Web.

Sincerely,
James Witt

Brad,
I go through Lakeland (where the jacket is) about once a week for work. My schedule is pretty flexible. I'm only about 45 minutes from there anyway. I'd be happy to help any way I can.
Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all of you around the world. It's been a fabulous year and we've so much to be thankful for. Few folks shall ever know the friendships I have made as a result of my association with Buell Motorcycles. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for that gift, today I am reminded.

someone who cares.

and if you do, do NOT let go.

Kit Car with Harley Engine

Does anyone know if there is a kit car that uses the Harley engine. At one time, the Dwarf Racing cars were built to use a Sportster engine.

Local trade school prof is looking for a class project.

Thanks
