Hey guys,
I'm ready for something different. Up for sale is my 06 Lightning Long in Sunset Orange. I converted the tail section to a standard, short S tail earlier this year. I have a ton of good parts on it, but here are the highlights...

EXT. Bolt-On:
Rizoma 851 mirrors in blk aluminum
Rizoma blk aluminum grips
Renthal Ultra Low bars in blk aluminum
Kellerman bar-end signals in blk(two-sided)
Black control levers
Free Spirits rear sets in blk al(nice)
Free Spirits front sprocket cover in blk al.
Modded S tail section(left stock susp.)
City X seat

EXT. Custom:
Painted parts frame grey to match
Filled front turn signal mounting points
sided mounted license plate(didn't mod swingarm)
Chopped tea strainer
Hi-temp painted header black

Engine/Performance:
Special Ops exhaust pipe(valve still works)
Special Ops heat barriers
Race Filter
Drilled inner airbox
Direct Link Key(used to dyno-tune stock ecm)
92rwhp
83rwtq

PLUS:I have ALL STOCK PARTS that were taken off to do the above, wrapped up and stored. They all have ext. low miles on them. Everything...stock subframes, seat, mirrors, bar, rear sets, muffler, plastic parts, etc. I bought separate muffler and tea strainer to mod. Only things that can't be reverted to stock without a bit of work are the painted header and other painted parts.

Tell all your friends about this one I owe around $9600 on it, but may take less depending on how stock you want it. Over $15K invested in this thing. Turns heads like no other bike I've owned. I have a bunch of pics and can take more should you be interested. PM anytime for details. Thanks for the space BadWeb!!

OK, bump for price reduction.
I'll go $9K even, and it needs a new set of tires, so it's probably gonna sit. Buyer may have choice of tires if I'm contacted shortly. Also, I forgot to say the bike has never been down, raced, or beat on. It has under 4K miles on it.

Thanks guys,
TK

Hello Tommy! I have been thinking of putting a ss tail on my s. Went to a Harley dealer and they said it couldnt be done. How did it work for you? Thought it would be an easy fit.

Hey Chad,

The frames are different, and the subframes are mounted at different widths. It's not a direct swap. I had to modify the S subframes to work. Had to realign the holes, and narrow them out, as the Ss frame is wider up top. To go the other way, you'll need both subframes, undertray, and seat at minimum. Not sure how it would all mock up, but Im sure it's possible. Would have to take up some of the width with some spacers maybe. The seat area is larger and more cush than the standard if that's what your looking for. The easiest way would be to buy my bike, and just put the stock rear back on. Then u get the nice tranny and added fuel cap too : )
