I am getting rid of this project against my better judgement because my wife is cracking the whip. Check it out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4565533953&rd=1&ss pagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

I don't even want to ask what the reserve is set at 'cause I ain't got the scratch to get it with.

I assume it has the right side shifter and left side brake like all good XLCH's had, right?

Interesting exhaust pipes on it as well.

'75 was the first year of the Fed. mandated "right side brake, left side shift" and this bike would have a series of linkages that swap the control actions from each side to the other. Someone with a little ingenuity and some earlier parts could probably make it into a right shift, left brake bike, the way God intended Sportsters to be! (the God of flat tracks, that is!) This is a smokin' deal for someone, IMHO- AL

Leftcoastal is exactly right. The bike has left shift and right brake with an odd linkage system. Have pegs and most parts, missing a bolt or two.
