I am wanting to put the XB9R top triple clamp and bars on the cityx along with the XB9R peg mounts for a more aggressive riding position. So if anyone wants the ones off the cityx for more upright riding we can work it out.

Ken,

Would you rather have a brand new pair of Crossroads bars? I have a set. I also have NIB black flyscreen and airbox cover, as well.

Are you unloading the passenger peg mounts, as well?
Pegs? do you know if it's fact that the later CityX and XB-S passenger mounts hang a bit -like 1.5"- lower than the 03's? if so, I may be interested- PM me with details...

Danvetc, really interested in the crossroads bars, I had them on my other 2 Buells but couldn't really spring for a set right now unless you are willing to work up a deal we can agree on. Let me know, you can email me at badweatherbiker@juno.com or call me tomorrow at 386-344-4552, I am in Florida. Are they the 0 Degree or 7 degree bars?
Rarebird, I am looking for more forward controls like the "R" model but I plan on keeping the rear passenger pegs as they are. In your profile it says you have an "S". By the way, they are lower.

Ken, I do have an "S". I was hoping you might be interested in selling the pegs. Mine came dealered with the "Traction" pegs, which are the same height as the "R" pegs, and I need the extra inch of legroom from the OE "lowered/ offset" pegs that come on the S and SX... It would be nice if Buell offered the Traction set in both styles... The passenger brackets were just wishful thinking from my wife

Rarebird,
Are the Traction pegs further back than the "S" pegs?

They're not further back, just higher. They extend straight out from the bracket -like the pegs on the "R"-, as opposed to the slight "drop" on the standard "S" pegs -which are the same as the lowered "comfort" pegs offered in the Buell accessories for the "Rs"-

Rarebird, would that affect the shifter and brake?
I'm thinking this might be a possibility.

To the best of my knowledge, it's just a matter of the usual adjustments to put the brake and shifter in the position you like...

The traction pegs are rubberized "R" pegs. The mounts themselves are the same from model to model with the only change being the pegs themselves.

Rarebird, yes the '04 and up passenger peg brackets hang lower then the '03 brackets. They are not that expensive brand new from the dealer.

I am interested in your stock CityX Bars if you still have them and want to part with them.
