Probably okay for M2's as well but I cannot guarantee the fork adjust holes will line up. Mounting plate and top section of both sides has been bead blasted to keep reflected light down. Mounted on my 2000 M2 with X1 forks. I've run these as a daily rider for a few years, then had to add 1" risers under them. My back and neck won't let me do it anymore. $110 includes stainless mounting fasteners. I know it doesn't look like the adjuster holes line up, but they are directly above the brass screws allowing access as designed.
