There's oil in the frame - this is practically a Buell!

FS/T - 2004 Suzuki DR-Z400S - in Mexico, Missouri
$3300 or partial trade for older DS/motard
Also interested in an S1 or S2 project

Bike currently has 7200 miles and change. First of all.. the bad. Dunlop 606s will need replaced soon. The front is pretty much done, but the rear may have a couple thousand left in it depending on what kind of riding you do. This is a dirt bike. It has been trail ridden a few times, although 95% of its life has been on pavement. It's been dropped on each side (both in the dirt) with no damage other than creasing the radiator shrouds. It hasn't been dropped since either of the above photos were taken.

Now for the good..
Unibiker radiator guards, TT case savers, skid plate (not sure what brand - I got it off eBay from a wrecked DRZ - it had some rash when I bought it but it's a metal plate. who cares), I built the lever guards out of some aluminum bar stock (they work!), has kick start added from an "E" model along with the factory "S" model electric start, 3x3 airbox mod, James Dean jet kit, Clarke 3.9 gallon tank. Bike will be sold with an extra seat, stock tank, a couple extra rotors, and a Brembo Gold caliper from an SM model. I even have some early 90s GSXR wheels if you want to motard it. I've always wanted to, just decided to go a different route.

Asking $3300, or partial trade for an older dual sport or motard. XR250, XR400, etc. Just needs to have a street title. I'm also looking for an S1 or S2 chassis in case someone has one. Would prefer an S1. I have an engine, suspension, and wheels. Need the rest of someone's bike for a project. (with all the Buell that have been chopped, WHY is it so hard to find a bike minus its engine?!)

PM here or text Phillip at 402-two five three-496one (ignore the area code - the bike and I are both in Missouri

No longer looking for an older DS. Would still consider partial trades for an S1/S2 chassis.

Thanks, but I've got a complete 00 X1 in pieces. Just wanting to do a build using that engine in another frame.
