Just bought a used carb and it was missing the choke assy. Anybody got one that I can purchase?

go on ebay and get the genuine mikuni unit. the H-D 'choke' (it's actually the activator for the enrichener system) cable has a plastic end on it where it mounts to the bracket, by the knob, and YOU WILL break the piece of crap. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but take my word for it, it'll get broken! It's got an 11/16 nut on it, but the torque it will take is FAR less than a foot long 11/16 open end is ever going to allow you to apply. The Mikuni cable is made of actual metal where the unit attaches to the bike frame. This, along with the clutch cable end where it goes into the primary cover, are probably the 2 most-broken pieces in the history of motorcycle mechanical repair.

Sorry - kinda got into a rant there.

Thanks guys, but what I need is the plunger, spring and piece that screws into the carb. There are tons of cables on e-bay, but haven't found the plunger, etc.
