S3,

What are to trying to achieve? The Buell "Choice" pegasus seat is about the same height.

I wanted to raise my tail on my x1, so I made simple brackets. See my profile pic.

I did eventually remove them because it pushed me forward into the tank. On longer rides my Balls were sore. I'm sure the crossroads bars didnt help either.

oneBadX1 - cool bike you have for sure..

My Son is 6' 3" so I want to increase the distance between the seat ht and pegs. probably it'll be a combination of lower pegs (have you seen the price on those things?), and some type of higher seat. I need the front of the seat to raise - not the rear of the bike - I've read where a couple guys have done the rise of the rear of the bike, and I must be missing something there. On your bike pic, I couldn't really tell anything in terms of the seat. Anyhoo...thanks for the insight...Oh - I agree with you on the ballbuster - I think the stock seat setup is a ballbuster just as it is :-(

The corbin saddle for the X1 is flatter and firmer, giving the impression of being higher on the bike. It also lets the rider scoot back and forth for more comfort. There is a guy who enlarged the mounting points at the subframe allowing him to pivot the tail higher. I don't think that modification would work in combination with a corbin seeing that the saddle pan doesn't flex. The trojan horse kit is nice but awfully expensive.

Try this guy.

http://www.knightdesignllc.com/ He's got lowered pegs for the tubers which would be not only the best idea, but the best bang for the buck!
Cheers
