For those of you with both:
- RS-1200 Westwind
- XB12X Ulysses
I'd be interested in getting a set of high-res pics of the flip-seat or tale on the Uly showing the range of motion. 1st pic horizontial 2nd pic about 30o 3rd pic about 45o 4th pic about 75o 5th pic vertical Ideally, with the seat in sharp focus and the background blurred. I'm not picky. I am writing about the seats and can use the pics out of old mags but would prefer not to go through the hassle of obtaining all the rights to 20 year old pics and besides, owners stuff is cooler. Thanks to anyone who can help, Court |

We can help with the back position of the Uly triple tail, as currently we have no bags on the Uly. |

Hey, Court; how about if I ride down to the City this weekend, and you can take all the pictures you want of the Triple Tail on my Uly? I have the H-B trunk mounted, so the tail only goes from flat on the seat to straight up. If it would be a help, I'm willing to take a ride. Like I really need an excuse to go for a ride... |

You guys WILL be at Liberty on the 22nd of Sept won't you? We're planning on it. You know, I've got the itch for some good Barbecue. I love the food at the Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse. They've opened another "Honky Tonk Rib Joint" at 646 W 131st St. New York, NY 10027 Good food is always a good excuse for a ride. |

Court, Crusty's offer extends to me too, I'm only about an hour north of the city. I'll also be at Liberty for the 22nd, so if not I'll see you there. Oh yea, i know you've been itching to ride a Uly, so your more than welcome to take mine for a spin |

Well, Court; I suggested to Terri that we ride down to NYC and have lunch at the Dinosaur tomorrow, and she's all for it. So, whether you want to take pictures or not, or if you want to join us or not, we WILL be eating BBQ tomorrow afternoon at the above mentioned address.(the Boss has spoken) Anybody else who wants to join us is welcome, also. Just look for the sexy orange Uly with the red Moto Guzzi Breva. |

Crusty, Google maps says you got a 3.5hr ride from Leominster, assuming that's where you will be starting from. If you want we can meet up some where and ride down. Hell if Court shows up, that would make it even better. If you want, give me a call 914-494-9974 and we can figure something out. |

Froggy, Terri and I have a few errands to run before we set out, this morning. What we're planning is to ride the parkways (West Cross, Merritt, Saw Mill River, Henry Hudson) down, and arrive at the Dinosaur at 12:30. If you want, we could meet there, then we could ride with you north from the City eventually picking up I-84. I won't call people at 7:00 AM, and I won't be near a phone, so if this is O.K. with you, we'll meet at the Dinosaur BBQ. You'll know us; we'll be the couple wearing Buell shirts. |

It really was a fun day! The BBQ at the Dinosaur proved to be as good as the BBQ at the original Dinosaur in Syracuse. It was neat seeing Froggy waiting when Terri & I pulled up in front of the Restaurant. I didn't really expect Court to show, to be honest; but when he did, it just made things that much better. And we got to hear some really good stories! Who knows; I might just find a Parkway Blue Datsun under a haystack someday! Court, I knew you were into photography, but I've seen dinner plates that were smaller in diameter than your lens. Froggy, thanks for the lunch. You pull very impressive wheelies with that Uly! |

Ah, the Dinosaur BBQ! Heading up to Watkins Glen this weekend for the annual Finger Lakes BMW Motorcycle Rally and I'll probably head over to Syracuse to the Dinosaur on Saturday. I've been to all three now... Syracuse (still my favorite), Rochester and Manhattan. All good! |

I'd take all the high res you can send me. Today I'm hoping to finish the RS/RSS and will be starting "Special Buells" tomorrow. I'd particularly enjoy getting good detail shots of: The frame The front caliper and brake Forks Rear Gambler brake I think I am in pretty good shape, but I want to spend a bit of time with "The Original Recall" and the transition from Buell front calipers to PMI. . not sure which you have. Ideally, I'd like the same very detailed shot of both of them. Thanks! |
