Okay . . collecting some 2007 thoughts and I'll probably write a ton of crap . . some good, some bad, some insight, some drivel.

But that'll have to wait.

The SCU will be at the office late . . . 12/31 is a HUGE day in the world of finance when you HAVE to nail down closing prices to an itsy-bisty portion of a dollar . . .

The upshot is that it's the famed Jack the Jazz Dog and I. . . and we've got the house to ourselves until about 10:00PM.

After the Led Zepplin Concert . . . well we started with that. We've got 2 amps, the PA, a couple mics on the grand piano and a collection of guitars scattered about.

Now we've worked our way up to Derek Trucks with Soloman Burke sitting in on vocals. . . . tonight is a night you don't have to explain to anyone about shaking some windows.

So . . . . whatcha all got cranked up?

I am at work awaiting the sounds of battle at midnight---on a clear night you can hear the Mac-10"s------

But did just get Springsteen "Live In Dublin"---kinda likin it, and a Terra Naomi cd.

Funny, out in the boonies nobody shoots firearms at midnight....

Must only be a city phenomenon...

A couple of years ago I was in Kileen, Texas over New Years, standing out on the patio in shorts and a tee shirt listening to the gunfire, when I had this revelation....There are places you can be where there isn't snow in the winter time!

What I am listening to? Nothing, my wife doesn't let me listen to music.

Spent the evening listing to these guys:

All in all pretty decent. Mrs's co-worker won some tickets to a local hall where they were playing for a NewYear'sEve night.
