This was tweeted by EBR. It appears that they are about to go make a video. I recognize that driveway and they are in the middle of the best motorcycle roads in the US. I can't wait to see the video.

OK Riohondahank, you 'recognize that driveway'...... how about putting it on the line a little bit and telling the rest of us where you think it is? I see the yucca and tall slender trees in the background and have a very good idea where but since you brought it up, I shall defer to your greater knowledge of the area.

It is Marvin (aka Denton) West's driveway in Eureka Springs, AR. I am very familiar with it because for several years I kept a bike in the garage. I also kept a mini motor home at the airport in Berryville 10 miles away so I could fly my plane there and drive to Marvin's house, park in the gravel drive way a bit down the hill. I could then go riding in the Ozarks. It was a 5 hr drive to Eureka Srings, but I could be there in just a bit over an hour in my plane. We used to call the turn on to the street out of his driveway turn one.

Marvin, Cory and I have ridden many miles together in NW Arkansas. I used to be able to out run Cory but ended not to long after he started.

FYI Marvin, as I call him because that is what he went by for many yrs but now prefers Denton, is about as close to a brother as I ever had. And I regard Cory as a nephew. We have been through a lot of good times and bad times together.

I was Marvin's tuner/sponsor during his roadracing career. My profile picture is me standing behind him on my Moto guzzi (208 ) at Daytona in 1986. Number 88 is another close friend, Mike Harth.

I also was very involved in Cory's early career as a sponsor and tuner.

Thanks, definitely a cool piece of history. That is a great set of acquaintances and must provide a real passion for the up coming talent and machines of EBR.

I don't know if you are aware but Cory is actually a 4th generation racer. On Marvin's mothers side. He has a great uncle that is in the AMA Hall of Fame for off road and another was a dirt tracker an roadracer that won the Daytona 250 cc race in 1966. His great grandfather was a racer and dealer.

Racing is for sure a passion in the West/Winters family and a lot of it has rubbed off on me.

I talked to Marvin about the video and he told me they spent several days in Eureka Springs with a professional production company shooting video far a commercial. There was even a remote control helicopter used for overhead shots.

The EBR people were very impressed with Eureka Springs and said they are planning on returning for more videos in the future that will include shots in the town.

This will not only give EBR some great exposure, but also the town of Eureka Springs and the surrounding area. It is a must place to visit for motorcycle riders of any stripe.
