There has been several inquiries from my site concerning bikes and parts. Let me start with saying yes I do have a ton. I have been so busy getting everything ready for the 2010 season I have been a bit of a slacker getting everything posted. My old buddy Glen Veatch is wrapping up this week on getting several of my old bikes together. We will end up with several XB's and 1125's for sale. After the bikes are completely assembled then we will have a list of available parts. So thanks for the interest and we will have you a complete list soon. Good job in the 200 Shawn, Walt, and Paul. I wish we could have had your pit stops |

Looking for a Slipper clutch that will work in a 2009 XB12R if you or anyone else has one and wants to un-load one for a fair price... |

Playhard, I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but here's one option: http://www.ebracing.com/shop/product69.html |

Playhard - at one time Walt Sipp was selling a second slipper. WELL WORTH the money. Sorry I waited so long. Talk about braking and turn-in confidence!!! YOU MUST use synthetic ATF in the primary though. Dexron II, not type F |

BEARRACING, that would be great. I'm finding there are a lot more difference's between the 08/09 models as compared to all earlier models then first thought. Their are not a lot of people racing the new bikes and thus most of the information I'm getting is from those riding older models, which is becoming increasingly frustrating because a lot of what works on the older models does not work on the 08/09's. I need to confirm an older model slipper would work in an 08/09 XB12R. I called EBR right after Daytona and was told they did not have a slipper clutch for the 08/09 model XB12, although they now have them listed on there website. Michael Richter was in Daytona when I called and he's the one I need to talk to I guess. Do the STM's use the OEM clutch plates? Slaughter - all my previous race bikes have had slippers. They are worth there weight in gold. Daytona was my first race on the new XB and first race without a slipper clutch. I was pretty much sliding the rear into every corner and it really hurt my lap times. |

Yeah - the first time you run with a slipper, it makes you a believer. I bet that if I ran my same pace now on the same track with a normal clutch, I'd bin it. |

Unless you are Danny Eslick who hates 'em and ran the stock clutch! |

Steve, which Redline ATF for the Alto Carbonite clutch plates? I ordered Redline D4 ATF which is a synthetic Dex II, Dex III, and Dex IIIH, fluid along with Merc and Merc V. Is this the right stuff? |

Annony, I love the stock clutch setup on my 1125R on the track also, It looks like Playhard is looking for one for an XB12R though. I raced Wes Orloff's XB12R at Road America last year and got on fine with it, but I have no idea what clutch setup was in it! |

hey Pat, that was a stock clutch running ATF. The XB12 seems to work awesome with the stock clutch. I tried riding a XBRR with a non-slipper one time and it was horrible....rear end wanted to come around big time.almost unrideable. I think the lighter crank engines like the xbrr and short stroke 1170's do well with slippers... i agree with you a 100% on the 1125R stock clutch...works great at the level i ride at. |

No problem....Glen is almost done assembling the bikes. I should have a complete list soon...only problem is I am leaving Saturday for Fontana...so it might not be until I return. Looks like we will have quite a few 1125 and xb parts. Also we will have 2 XBs for sale along with 3 1125s. I still have one of Barneys and have dropped the price. Also if anyone lives close to Elkhart...I have tons of Buell banners, umbrellas, and other stuff. I would give it to anyone who wants to pick it up....just hate to throw it away. |
