The search on this site doesn't work on my computer so I need to ask.... First of all I know next to nothing about wiring, this is my first Fuel injected bike... I ordered a wire harness from EBR with no instructions just to pieces of tape that said ignition key and battery power on 2 seperate leads up front. But there is a red and black lead at the tail. Anyone know what it's for???

I eliminated the key and am using a toggle switch. I have the red battery power wire and the red wire from the ignition hooked up to the switch. with the black wire and red/black wire from the ignition unhooked. I flipped the switch and it powered up with the lead in question at the back having power.... also my check engine light came on, but I am not using o2 sensors. Did I do something wrong I don't want to hurt anything...
