Today would be a much better day for boat racing thus far. Absolutely pouring down rain since 7AM. Maybe Sunday will not be a wash out. Got my bike all packed up and ready to go.

Tom,

Good luck!! Are you planning to make the WERA GNF? If so, I'd love to meet up with you. Look for the #544 Buells in the pits.

Hope the weather is better for you tomorrow Tom. I use to hate the rain, but after making myself go out in it. I still never hope for it but if it comes I embrace it, well...for the most part. lol!

My favorite race in the rain was the last southeast round at Barber. Tim and I almost floated away, lol! Where's the pics Tim?

Speaking of which I crashed in the solo 20 at T5 just after it started raining, I was on race dot's. I dislocating my shoulder... within the next lap 5 or 6 others crashed out too. The red flag came out and it gave me enough time to get my shoulder back together. Tim, TJ ? and somebody else replaced my shifter, linkage and clutch lever. I was able to retech and make my grid just as everyone was finishing their warm up lap.

Started 17 and ended up in 9th..... Good times....was a blast.

Didn'y mean to hi-jack your thread Tom, just felt like sharing the story again since the weather was bad, lol!

Good luck tomorrow, have fun and go fast!

Hope to see you at the GNF
