extremely rare 16.5" magnesium front XBRR wheel looking to trade for 17" magnesium buell front race wheel. Wheel is from a factory XBRR and is labeled 'Jeremy McWilliams 999'. fits 1125R/XB9/12 as well. Trade straight up for excellent condition 17" front XBRR/Buell race magnesium wheel. pics on request

Rider preference...the 16.5 creates a different tire contact patch that some riders prefer and works well on some bikes. it also provides a relatively taller sidewall vs a 17" which acts as more 'suspension' at full lean. The 16.5 rear is supposed to provide a good compromise of side grip vs driving traction. All the moto gp bikes run 16.5, as well as the pre-DMG superbikes. In the case of the Buell, I would guess McWilliams prefers the 16.5" as that is what he was coming from in moto-gp back in the 2007 time frame. To me it definitely has a different feel and traction is great, but at my skill level I can't say that it is necessarily better than the 17" front....just different.
