Just got the word that my license is acceptable to purchase an ECM. I want to apologize for all the dramatics I started on this list. I am suitably embarrassed and remorseful. But I sure learned a lot about the people on this list and posting here. Thank you, Doug |

Hey Doug, Nothing to be embarrassed about brother. You were a little miffed by the way things went down. It's understandable. Maybe it was the choice of wording in the thread title? Don't let it stop you from posting again!! Schmitty |

Those of us in the CCS Great Plains and Midwest Regions are probably pretty spoiled because most of us have had the opportunity to visit with Henry and other Buell personnal face to face on lots of ocassions so we kind of take for granted how lucky we are. I'm glad to hear everything worked out for you and best of luck next season!! |

Don't sweat it Doug! Anyone racing an 1125R in my book is an ok guy! Good luck next season and maybe we will see you out there. I run the Battle of the Twins national series that goes to Sandia...not my favorite track by a long shot. I don't know what the surface of that track is made of, but it just destroys the right side of tires! I can't imagine what the tire bill would be for someone who club races there...We will definitely be going to Miller, come on up! WFO |

Hurricane, I hear you. I'd rather travel 284 miles each way to Arroyo Seco, the safest track in America. When Doug Chandler wanted to teach his son about road racing he towed from Salinas, CA to ride at Arroyo. That wasn't very long ago. Too bad I missed those days because each month he was here he would put on a class. Sandia has too many barriers and looks like a very short track. Besides we ride year round at Arroyo. Sandia shut down about 4-5 weeks ago. I have 4 more days at the track before the end of the year. If you want to thaw out this winter come down and try this place. It's pretty cool |
