I am not renewing the website for Ulytility once it expires. I just dont have the time to deal with it anymore, and to be honest, I havent sold very many, and I accomplished my goal of getting a bracket to mount lights on my bike. I want to thank everyone who bought one, and I hope they serve you well. I will bring a few brackets to homecoming, and anyone there can get one from me if I still get to go. |

I understand completely - I hope you didn't lose $ on the deal but you probably did. I know I'm thankful for a quality product. Sure beats the heck out of hose clamps |

How long will you be selling them for? I plan on getting one in the near future. |

Thanks guys. It really was mainly about getting a bracket I could use myself, and not look like I made it with a jigsaw and aluminum stock. Jack, watch your mailbox. I made a promise to you a while back, and I am sorry I havent kept it till now. |

Gale: Sorry to hear this as I think you have a great product. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my bracket and have tried to send business your way. Will be at the homecoming and I hope our paths cross. |

That does stink. Well, at least I got a bracket and I am trilled to death with it. We still have to get the Cleveland Uly guys together some time. |

Gale, Can we still order the brackets until the website goes down? I suspect you're bumping quite a few of us off dead-center with this announcement. |

Yes you can order until I run out or the web site expires, whichever comes first. Mr Lime, I have some ideas to improve the bracket, and you being a machinist could probably make a spectacular product, once you get what I have to say about my testing and development. If you are interested in carrying on with them, ping me and I will discuss it with you. |

I just ordered my set. Wasn't ready to, but I wanted the bracket so when I find lights at the right price I'm all set. Thanks for offering a good solution for us Uly owners. |

Ok guys, You have amazed me. I sold over 40% of the brackets I had made since I made the announcement. I saved one for the factory, and if they are interested, I will give it to an engineer and give him the results of my testing, and what I think they could do to make a kick ass bracket for everyone. If someone from Buell wants to contact me, I will be headed up to the land of cows and fun bikes on the 4th, I figure Chicago will not be busy on the holiday, and truck traffic should be light. I am saving one for me as well. I know the bracket can be much better, I had to take the finished product, they couldnt one off a sample without making it really, really expensive. If I get the improved version made, everyone who bought the original will get an incredible deal on one. You took the chance on them and I truly appreciate it. I am officially sold out. I will disable the buttons, and if any one beats me to it, I will send them a check instead of a bracket. Yes it bugs me that I just dont have the clout, time or finances to do one the way I want right now, but if the factory isnt interested, I figure out a way to do it. |

Lorazepam, Thanks for doing it...a thought - if the factory isn't interested, perhaps the guys at American Sport Bike would be interested in some sort of an arrangement? |

I'm going with the PIAA 510 SMR kit. I think they look the best setup next to the headlights like on the Ulytility website. This is also the best price I have found. http://www.gforceautosports.com/piaa510smr.htm By the way, tracking number shows my bar was delivered yesterday, but I haven't seen it. I think my Saint Bernard has carried it off somewhere around my property. It wouldn't be the first time she has done it. Anybody want a dog the size of a horse that thinks it can climb in your lap like a cat? (Message edited by jmhinkle on May 08, 2007) |

I love my Uly light bar, and my PIAA 510 lights, and my "autoswitch". I flash my hi-beams twice and my aux lights come on, no extra switch to find a place to mount.
Lorazepam: Great product! Let me know if you need help keeping it going. |

That's exactly the look I was talking about. The autoswitch is a great idea too. You guys have to stop posting this stuff. I'm going to be divorced soon because of my farkling. |

+1 on the Autoswitch, works great once used to the double-flash procedure. Installed Hella FF50 driving lights onto my Ulytility bracket. 55w (upgradeable) H7 bulbs in very light and low profile housings. Cast a VERY bright and controlled beam. Under $100 with the optional stone shields and I'm very happy with them. Lots of room for them on Loraz's bracket. |

FF50's come with a fog reflector also, I've considered mounting a set of those directly under the others but I don't know about the extra weight... |
