Lorazepam, i need a 'birthday gift from an american cousin' in the form of a deluxe tank bag... you could put bails's manual inside the bag! I will photocopy the pages i need & forward on! The price i got yesterday from local dealer converts to us$225. There is one on ebay for us$140 (buy now price). Cant see shipping being us$85... what gives?

I work for an Australian owned company here in the US. We ship stuff over all the time. I never thought the shipping was all that bad unless you send something overnight or two day.

Of course, overnight delivery to Australia is an oxymoron since most of the time it's technically the next day over there when you send it. The 15 hour time difference is a killer.

I used to buy Triumph parts from a dealer in the UK. Postage was a bit much, but the parts were cheaper and came more quickly.

I can't imagine that a dealer like Appleton woudln't gleefully take your phone call and ship your stuff anywhere you asked.

Don't worry guys, I'm still around.
I just don't sell Buells or Buell parts anymore.
You can still get the same service by calling Andy, the guy i hand picked to replace me at the Appleton dealership.
his email is Buellsales@h-dappleton.com

Daves,

Best of luck to you in your new venture.

BTW, you should try out a few recurves and longbows... after you get used to them they feel real natural and then you won't want any more of those funny little wheels on your bows. Kind of like a Buell on a windy road.

I shot a recurve the other day. No thanks. I'll stick to my compounds.
I do have a lot of respect for those that can shoot a recurve or longbow well.

Do dealers really do a proper service ?

Picture of a turkey with three arrows in him.

I guess that's one person's opinion...
