Got Syncs on the Uly yesterday and was wondering what pressures others who have done so were running?

I scrubbed them in today at 34F and 36R...seems about right...

So far they are okay...seem much more sensitive to input and the react quicker than the Dunlops...took me about 100 miles to get it sorted out. I'm not sure if that is a good thing for me.

I'll try to take some pics tomorrow...

After 300 miles I'm pretty happy with the Syncs.

Well, how do they go? Does it handle any better, does it run straighter instead of swimmingly? Come on Eor, give us the goods!

Opto,
See Eor's 3/12 post in the thread below for his review. Looks very promising.

Hi Eor...... I read you review..... Im glad you got the headshake away (for now at least)...... but I couldnt find anything regarding the swimming...... do you still get it? I cant get mine off...... and its starting to be a serious issue as I do not feel the bike steady at all..... anything above 80 kmh its not right....... and if its windy.... its even scary.....

Thanks...... (great comp with the Dakar BTW)

I've never experienced nor noticed the swimming sensation others have reported on the Ulysses with the Dunlop tires.

However, most seem to experience it at speeds over 80 MPH. Those speeds just aren't possible where I spend most of time riding, particularly given my skill [and nerve] level.

If I find myself on a highway straight enough to go that fast...I'm looking for an exit.

You should get at least 8000 miles out of the Syncs.

Based on my previous experience with them, I will be pleased to get half that.

I'd like to hear how they compare to the D616's on the gravel or dirt roads.

The tread doesn't look that different. Anyone have any experince they could share about this??

If the get better milage, I'm all for the change.
