Eye to eye. Sounds like a pirate term to me. |

Good question. When the time comes for a replacement Wilbers or Ohlins, that will be good information to have. |

electa97', thats kind of funny coming from a harley rider. :P "Let's see... Harley Davidson. What comes to mind when I think of Harleys? Grown men (and some women) who dress up in little pirate outfits - axelwick" |

Yeah I'm a Harley owner since 97' but have ridden since 68' starting with a Honda S90. Then a CB 350, Hodaka 100 Ace, a couple of CB 750's, CB 900, Yamaha Venture Royale, Electraglide and ULY. The guy I sold the Hodaka to played chicken with a train on it and was dragged by the train about a mile. Dead of course. |

I was actually thinking a longer shock might work on a tuber to lower the bike? |

The tuber shocks are made different. They compress the spring when the eyes are pulled apart instead of when pushed together like all other bikes do. The XB models corrected that little nuisance. |

I have a friend who had a tuber. That shock was a cluster f**k. Can't believe Erik dreamed that up. |

Need to take issue with the cluster statement about Tuber Shock layout. We have ridden tubers since 97, have not had a single issue with either the shocks or the mechanical working. If it weren't for the solid mounted engine, we would still be riding tubers. Each to there own Ride Safe |

Well...like I said. It was a friend of mine. I have no first hand experience. He always talked bad about the shock setup. |
