Has anyone been able to compare the Buell Low seat for the Ulysses with the Corbin seat? The Buell low seat is still a good inch too tall for me. Thanks Steve Ford |

I haven't tried the Buell low seat yet, but if you will go here, you can see a pretty good comparison of the stock versus the Corbin seats regarding seat height. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/discus.cgi?pg=next&topic=6817&page =162814 Scroll down the page a bit for the Corbin seat photos and discussion. |

If the Buell low seat is too high, the Corbin is certainly not the answer... It's a great seat and looks super, but it's not a whole lot lower than the stock one as it relates to flatfooting the bike at stop lights. Your butt is lower when riding and you'll have a little more bend in your knees, but since it feels a little wider at eh seat base, it's not going to make the reach to the ground a whole lot easier than the stocker. Just my 2 cents... |

My Corbin is 1/2 inch lower that the Buell ULY low. I had it made using my Buell plastic pan and not their Corbin pan. The stock pan is molded around the frame the Corbin pan sets on top of it. I have had custom Corbin's made for my Blast, S3-T and now my ULY. I am only 5' 8" so I had the bucket moved almost 2 inches forward also. ... Terry |

my new 12/28/06 uly has a low seat and i went from tiptoes to two solid balls (no jokes :P) of my feet on the ground. i have NO idea what the corbin improvement is but im SO glad i had them throw the low seat in the package. im very jealous of yall that live below the mason-dixon line and are still riding your ulys...sooo jealous. chris |
