It turns over fine but no start. Any ideas? I hope it's something simple as I'm supposed to be at work in a half hour.

Everything looks fine to me. Though you might want to check the air pressure in your front spokes. |

Blinker fluid is low! Saw a you tube video on how to check and tip off your turn signal fluid! I was enlightened and amazed in just 3 minutes . Go figure! |

Thanks for the advice but no luck so far. Maybe the float is sticking and it's flooding out? I'll try hitting it with a block of wood after breakfast. The boss is gonna be pissed but I did tell him that I'm running a little late. |

My boss suggested using oil in the motor instead of newspaper. Sounds crazy to me but what the hell, nothing else has worked so far. Hunka junk! |

Speaking of newspaper, you do realize gramps been all week trying to take a crap without his paper? Like , he was looking to fit the word regular into the crossword puzzle somewhere! The damn paper is under the bike? He'd a never found it out here! OMG! All week without a poo? Poor gramps! |

I know these things run hot but Buell Cam Melt? No wonder Erik was so pissed over the V-Rod. Water cooling might have helped salvage the guts in the cam cover or at least kept them from vaporizing. I was thinking maybe adjust the valves or something but melted cams sounds like the kiss of death for Ye Olde Useless. |

Nothing worked, not even jumper cables from my mom's car, so in a moment of inspiration I decided to scour Craig's List and I scored an engine from the Mighty, Mighty Blast with only 39,000 miles on it. It was a Rider's Edge vehicle so I know it was maintained well. I haven't quite figured out the front mounting system and I've got some extra wires which are puzzling but the hand crank on the left works so well that I'm going to try a dry primary chain. Just thought you ladies and gentlemen might like to feast your beady little eyeballs on splendor that is The Useless Point Five. I'm hoping it won't be down on power as I just bought a used trailer and sidecar for our upcoming trip through the Rockies. This will be the trip of a lifetime for the wife and I.

Ah, you haven't changed to the XB9 primary sprocket yet! Might want to do that to help pull that sidecar and trailer! |

Good thinking! Lynda's probably getting too old to push much above 7,000 feet or so. |

You put that blast motor in backwards. Pull it out and put the other end in front. I can tell because the cylinder is leaning the wrong way. You could just bend the cylinder to the right spot, but it would be hard to line up the front motor mount. Your welcome. |

It's always something! All kidding aside, I was shorted a set of rings but they showed up today so the motor's all done, the primary is back together, the intake manifold is done fighting me and tomorrow I'll struggle with the header pipes. A second person would really come in handy for the headers, it looks like there's only one position where everything will pop into place. |
