I've listed it for sale. Badweb has been great and I'll still tune in from time to time. Thanks for all the help and info. over the years.

I'm already having second thoughts, Ourdee. I may pull the ad today. I can't ride it as often, with three, but it is a great, do anything bike and it does everything well. Thanks for your 'think about it' post. : ) Are you having a Homecoming this year?

I don't know, maybe I'm unlucky, but it seems like the two Uly's I've owned were good for about 20K each before shit started falling apart. The 08 I have now seems to obey a "conservation of badness" principle, I fixed the stator then the starter went. I fixed the starter now the head bearings need replacing. I bought a TEX two months ago and I love it. I keep thinking I should ride the Uly back to back with the TEX but with the clicking in the front bearings that's probably a crappy idea (not that I have a paucity of crappy ideas). I'd put mine on the market today, but who wants a bike where the head bearings need replacement? So I'll probably leave it sit for a couple of months and then finally tear into it, fix it...then what? Sell or ride until something else goes wrong?

Just glad I have options, I guess.

What's a TEX, Ski? Glad you like it. I haven't had any problems in over 31,000 miles other than a poorly made fuse that failed. It didn't blow, just split apart. Mine has been as reliable as can be.

I've read really good reviews on the Explorers. Enjoy. I think you still hold the record for the fastest belt change on the side of the road, Ski. : ) And the record for the most changed. : ) I'm still on my original. My new spare is getting old. : )

I've put 2500 on the Triumph and I must say it's a fantastic bike. Nice to have a drive shaft, no worries about belts. Plenty of HP. Torque is good. It's a longer wheelbase and a 19" front wheel, so it's not quite as responsive. That's ok, I'm not a track rider anyway. The Uly is a bit more comfortable but there are plenty of seat options.

Yeah I think I'm on my 6th belt or something. I can change them on the side of the road in less than 30 minutes.

I must be doing something wrong.

Mike, HC2015 Starts the 27th of May. I'll get to Country View Campgrounds Wed. evening. Others will already be in town by then. How much gear can I carry on an Scg?

Ski, I remember replacing head bearings on the XT. Like a new bike after.
