Okay I did something really stupid and now I'm really frustrated at myself.

I was doing a TPS reset today and ended up backing out the idle adjustment screw too far and it came out. Any idea how I can thread it back in?

I got my MSIE from Purdue back in the mid 90's.

As for your question. Remove airbox and airbox base plate. Reattach the idle adjustment screw to the throttle ramp where you screwed it out of. No big deal. Happened to me the first time I did a TPS reset years ago on my 06 Uly.

Got it worked out! That was a pain to get threaded. Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder to watch spy screen and when 0 setting appears. Actually, doing a hard tps reset i used a voltmeter to know when and how much further to turn the tps. Fixing to get into the square idle, so setting tps is first step and dont want to unscrew idle cable altho a brand new one is waiting.
Did i mention that after watching enough beakmans world in the 90's that i realized i graduated from inert state university as well! No mistakes here. Yeah right!

So I broke my idle cable, the part where the but fits on the end, it just snapped off. Any ideas on how to get a new one or how to fix this? I'm just sitting here looking at it drawing a blank.
