Looking at the 06 ECM (DDFI-2) over the 10 ECM (DDFI-3 with front O2 sensor) they are not the same. The 10 ECM has about 64 pins and the 06 only 24. The plugs on the 10 ECM are also staggered so it may have two double layered PCBs. Once all of this is "potted" it should be a lot stronger but also a lot harder to fix over the 06 ECM as those "micro PCB circuits" are a real pain to fix. Maybe they have improved the design a little but how would you be sure.

The 06 ECM fix.
