I accidentally made a clean spot on my rear wheel while putting a dangling wheel weight back on and I noticed that it's a different color than the front.

The front wheel is more silver in color and the back looks exactly like the 2010 "Magnesium" color. Besides pulling the wheel and checking the bearings, is there a way to tell if it's a 2010?

FYI, my bike is a 06 and yes, my wheels are filthy.

Just look closely at the bearings, there are markings on it, the 03-09 wheels use size "6006" so you will see that imprinted on it, the 2010s have a different size

The 2010 wheel has outer seals too, right? With the 03-09`s, the bearings are right there, open to the elements.

^ That's the easy way to tell.

The wheels should be the magnesium color. Another possibility is that your front wheel was swapped, or maybe it just faded slightly.

Doesn't the 2010 wheel have a dark colored axle?

Yes.

The front may have faded. I know mine have...but I can only tell if I screw up and put one of those pesky clean spots on it.
