I have a real problem finding good gloves to fit my big, xxl/12 size, hands here in the UK. Hein Gerike xxl are the only ones that fit me and have been using the same summer gloves, on my third set now, for many years. The problem is that there winter gloves are not good and no other make fitted. I wanted a waterproof glove that was warm, still had good feel and proper armour. I have just found these.
Knox Zero Outdry gloves. They have armour at every point and "palm" pucks as well. Elastic and velcro adjustment at the cuff plus the "Boa" lace system but with just the elastic the glove will not come off. Long gauntlet style with a extra water seal. They go on easy and are easy to adjust. They broke in fast and the liner does not "pull out" on taking the glove off. No sweaty hands, very flexible and GREAT feel. I could even use my tv remote control with them. Double leather on the pinky and palm edge. The "Boa" lace system works very well as does many other things. I do not know who designed these gloves but a lot of thought was put into it and they are the best I have ever seen. I love them but they are not cheap. But then again I like to keep the use of my hands. |

Use your "TV" remote? I don't think even Froggy has a TV on his bikes. |

For $200, they should be pretty damn nice. |

"For $200, they should be pretty damn nice." Yes I know what you are saying. They are a VERY top line price. Gloves cost a lot to make and these have the CE category 1 mark. Something I have not seen before on bike gloves. In the EU it is something that is being pushed for safer riding gear and a good idea. |
