I am looking into a set of 2" drop pegs for myself. I realize precision engeneering has them and they look great.I just did a search and sounds like everyone loves them however Im worried they wont stand up to A-my weight-275ish, B the abuse of some off road i plan on doing and the requirement to be standing on the pegs for long periods. Any thoughts? (Message edited by jetranger_2000 on April 11, 2013) |

Knights design makes some drop pegs too. They will reduce your lean angle a little, but reportedly they are strong enough not to break durring a tip over. So Don't worry |

The PE ones are made from billet. You're not going to break them by standing on them! They give a wide platform and are very comfortable for standing. |

Look at the tabs where the pegs attach to the bike. You're worried about the pegs being the weak link? |

Jamba, Those things look like they have the potential to rip your leg open. |

Before I order the PE pegs with 2 inch drop, anyone have these? Do you have to mess with the shift/brake at all? I find my knees are bent a bit too much for my liking. The cheapest shipping option I've found is $17 for 1.5 lb package, thats kinda rediculous if you ask me.... |

Love my PE 2' Drop pegs! Very grippy, more room for my long legs. Have the shift & brake levers too. Tightened up the shifting, & gives enough extra leverage to make the back brake useful. b. |

Had them for a while and love them. I had to adjust the shift lever but the brake was fine. |

The cheapest shipping option I've found is $17 for 1.5 lb package, thats kinda ridiculous if you ask me.... USPS Priority Mail Flat rate box. UPS cost more than twice the price ($13.00), and took 8 days to get to me from Precision. Priority Mail was cheaper ($4.95), and I had the parts in two days. It's the best deal out there. |
