Well, here's one way to do it: From Buellish's Barber photos (link posted on the Quickboard). This bike appears to use stock XB forks, 8 piston caliper, and brake rotor with a larger diameter front wheel with some sort of adapter widgets allowing the rotor to be mounted on the larger diameter wheel. If anybody's serious about fitting a 19" front wheel to your Uly, looks like this idea would work. |

As my grandson used to say when we fed him something nasty, "I can't like that". |

I'm a retired engineer and love its simplicity. Not enough gas, tortuous too low seat, hated feet forward. All that said, I just like the look. Someone at the gym the other day didn't even consider my ULY a motorcycle for some odd reason. I can't remember the exact words they used to describe it but I just wrote it off as them not having a clue. So far it is the best motorcycle I've owned without a doubt. I've been riding since 69'. |

"as them not having a clue". A common thing these days with many a thing EG and not just the Uly. I sometimes wonder if some people still have the ability to "think" for themselves rather than just take whats pushed under there nose by those who know nothing much themselves. I love it though as I get a good deal on the situation. |

I can appreciate the minimalism. It looks better than 99.9% of the other choppers or whatever category of bike this falls into that I have seen, but that isn't saying much. I guess I am a big function over form guy, and the lack of that quality makes these bikes ugly to my eye. If I regarded it as a sculpture or an appliance or something other than a motorcycle, then perhaps I could see the beauty in it. This just isn't my idea of a motorcycle, but each to his/her own. |

I'm an engineer, too, and I appreciate function over form, I just don't like "choppers". Confederate has come out with some really cool designs, but they are hugely overpriced in my humble opinion. I can't understand what criteria a Uly doesn't satisfy to qualify as motorcycle? |

It was a dizzy young gal at the gym's front desk. She says that she is going to take an MSF course next year so that she can get a bike. I imagine she thinks that bikes should all be cruisers. She comes across as not too overly bright so to my way of thinking, what she says wasn't worth a response. What she said was a bit strange though even though my swiss cheese memory can't recall what she said. |

Electroglider, what in the world do you listen to a bimbette for about a bike? Take her home and bend her over. That'll show her what riding is. |

Yeah...back to the issue...larger (21) front wheel would rock the Ulys. Devise a triple extension to kick the forks out...might have to drop the triple clamps some to level the bike if needed. Where is that wheel sourced? Looks like the disc mounts on schnivvies that clamp through the "spokes" so any size disc could be used based on source bike. |

This pic was taken by Bueller; here's the link to the original thread on the quickboard: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/696145.html He says the bike was built by Brian Fuller. Here's a link to his website: http://fullerhotrods.com/ Go get 'em! |

That my friends is a perfect example of a TT racer! (Tavern to Tavern!) You don't need much gas or comfort just to get to the next watering hole! I like it! |
