I noticed my tail light was out so I broke out the owners manual. Much to my dismay it states if light is out, replace the assembly.
WTF? 08 uly, any input?

I'd check wiring, connectors, and fuses first. Odds are near zero that all the LEDs would go out at once.

D'oh... I just checked it again and although you can not see light from the side it is illuminated looking directly from rear.

Life has been good to me so far and I am very happy with the uly. Bought it to replace a ducati multistrada. The strada does everything better but I prefer the uly.
Cant seem to be able to sell the strada, seems 17k miles freaks everyone out. Guess daily riding is verboten.

I got one of each as well. Love the Multi Classic, but in all fairness, just got the Uly. Time will tell. Also, the Multi lives in N Idaho, while the Uly basks in the sun in SoCal. Plan a nice weekend on the Uly visiting some of the awesome canyons and mountain roads of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Might even find my way to the new solar farm near SLO.

Glenn, the Multi is the S touring model. It has all the bells and whistles and for you the price is 13,500.

Man I miss living there... weekend sport touring adventures within minutes of home. Rock Store for breakfast, Cold Springs Tavern for a break, back home whenever. Mulholland Highway, HWY 150, Cat Cyn Rd, Aliso Cyn, East Camino Cielo, on and on. Reason I bought my Uly. Highway 1 to Monterey for lunch and back, soul cleansing.

Living in San Bernardino is a whole different world. Explains all the cruisers...
