so my ecm is cracked and I'm going to buy a ebr one for my 09 xt. I'm looking for the thread for relocating it.Do you have to relocate all Buell ecm, lighting, firebolt, or is this just a ulysses problem?

Not sure if it's Uly specific, but the Uly does have a different seat frame. I looked into the ECM relocation after I installed my comfort kit, considering the fan shroud is Uly specific; I don't thing the other models have as much room, but that's just me.

It's Uly specific. plenty of threads around about doing the relocation.

yup I found the threads, thankyou, I have the new ecm, two days to get it very fast. The bike is a 09 do I have to do a tps reset or is it plug and go?

You should do that manual TPS reset that 2008 and up bikes have.
Turn on ignition without starting the bike and slowly open and close the throttle.....
What is it? 3 times? 5 times?
Someone help me out here.....

Anyways, you should probably do it again once the bike is at operating temp too.

I'll probably be doing this over the winter myself.

Post up your results after you get settled in with the new ecm as I would like to know if you could tell any performance difference?

new ecm, very smooth running bike now! A lot less heat comming up on my leg and the the fan program is much better than the stock program. Well worth it!
