I bought a 2009 XP from a fellow badwebber last October. sorted the suspension & replaced the bits I damaged after I fell off it. At the time I had a 2006 Blast & a 1999 X1. The X1 was for fun,the Blast for my daily commute. I had to let the X1 go 'cause of my bad back. (Sold to a fellow badwebber) I said I would keep the Blast for ever as it is such a fun bike. I intended keeping the XP bone stock. I have now sold the Blast due to some financial problems I have experienced recently. I still have the XP. Now, it begins... Removed the top rack as I don't have a top box for the XP. Bought a tail pack for it. I just performed the headlight mod to have both lights lit up on main beam & shortened the stalks on the front indicators. Like the title says, I swore I wouldn't change a thing on the XP when I bought it but it seems that I can't not tinker with any bike I own. I'm sure there will be more to follow in due course. I just bought a XB12XT and I can't leave well enough alone either. Full service, rear tire, ordered a XB9 primary kit, replaced the front motor mount. I just have to tinker. I think it is in the nature of a Bueller. |

Britch I believe you must have the top rack on if you are using side cases as there is less outward support or some other reason. Don't quote me regarding this but if you look in the SM you could find it Druelly |

Druelly, you have it backwards, no topcase without the side racks. |

Thanks froggy, that's what I thought. I have the side cases mounted on the original racks & have been monitoring them JIC. Chris C |

Thanks for the correction froggy. That statement sort of sums up my life, sort of backwards. |

And so it goes on.... Just added a K&N air filter & 1 inch bar risers. Deleted the police light wiring harness. (it's going to a fellow badwebber) |

Do you have the siren and will you sell it ? |

Unfortunately, the bike came to me without any of the lights or siren. It only had the wiring loom. I thought about buying a set of lights but the cheapest I could find was way too rich for my pocketbook. I was contacted by a badwebber re: the wiring for the lights etc so I decided to remove it & let him have it in order that it would be used rather than just laying around on my bike doing nothing. I think he has the controller & all the lights etc'. Chris C |

Next up: The breather mod. It's my birthday (soon) so I treated myself to the necessary parts from American Sport Bike. Chris C |

Looks like LED aux lights. I have similar lights. How do you like yours? |
